Guía para acudir a Genera 2026

Surely you have already heard of GENERA 2026. This is an event that will bring together at IFEMA Madrid a large part of the companies and professionals working around the renewable energy and electrification. If your company belongs to this sector and you are thinking of attending as an exhibitor, you should already know that you will be facing a trade show with a very specialized audience, but where making yourself visible will require preparing your presence very well.

As you may already know, the next edition will be held from November 24 to 26, 2026 within the International Week of Electrification and Decarbonization, which brings together GENERA and MATELEC, which we talked about earlier. The scale of the event helps to understand what you can find there: the last edition brought together no less than 57,000 professionals and nearly 800 exhibiting firms.

Always remember that in such a specialized fair The image has to live up to the technology and the solutions you are going to present. It is not about being just another one.

At RCK Stands, we want to help you prepare your participation in advance, especially if you are renting your own space and need a stand that truly represents your company.

When and where is GENERA 2026 held?

It will take place on the days November 24, 25 and 26 at IFEMA Madrid, specifically in halls 9 and 10. The announced schedule for trade visitors is from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The fair shares its call for entries with MATELEC within the International Electrification and Decarbonization Week. The approach makes it possible to bring together in a single venue companies related to various points of the energy and electrical transformation.

One point you should know is that for this 2026 IFEMA has announced over 32,000 m2 of exhibition space and more than 500 confirmed participating companies months before the event. GENERA is especially focused on fields such as renewable energy, photovoltaics, energy storage, energy management, and operation and maintenance of facilities.

Keep in mind, therefore, that we are talking about a purely professional fair. Among its visitors, we find installers, engineering firms, distributors, architects, specifiers, and companies looking to learn about solutions applicable to energy and industrial projects.

What companies can exhibit at GENERA 2026?

This event has a quite evident technical profile. Its exhibition space is aimed at renewable energy companies and technology manufacturers, along with providers of solutions related to energy efficiency, engineering, and sustainable construction.

In 2026 they will have a special presence issues related to the electrification of processes, self-consumption, energy storage, and smart grids. Demand-side management, digitalization, and infrastructures aimed at decarbonization are also part of the planned content.

We are talking about an issue that it directly influences how one presents oneself as a speaker. Many visitors know the market well and arrive at IFEMA looking for specific solutions. A booth full of generic messages will hardly help explain why they should stop at your company.

The commercial proposal must be understood quickly and the space needs to make it easier for the team to explain products, show technology or hold conversations with potential clients.

What should a booth for GENERA look like?

If we are talking about a trade fair related to energy and technology, It is clear that the design must convey a professional image at first glance. That does not force you to fill the space with screens, complex structures, or technical messages.

At RCK Stands, we like to approach every project based on the company's identity and on how the space will be used during the trade fair. There are exhibitors who need to display physical equipment, while others work mainly with services, engineering, or solutions that require commercial explanation.

The distribution varies quite a bit in each case:

  • Demonstrations. Here, the product needs visibility and enough space around it for several people to view it without blocking the walkway.
  • Meetings. When meetings are the priority, it is worth setting aside a quieter area where you can hold conversations with a certain degree of comfort.

Always keep in mind that the lighting and materials must maintain an aesthetic consistent with the brand. In technical sectors, a clean design often makes reading the space much easier and allows the products to take center stage.

When to start preparing your participation as an exhibitor?

Waiting until November to think about the booth leaves very little margin. Before manufacturing, you have to study the allocated space, prepare the design and finalize audiovisual installations or needs.

The official calendar establishes the booth setup between the November 18 and 21, 2026, while days 22 and 23 are designated, among other things, for the delivery of modular booths and the entry of goods. The fair will open its doors on the 24th.

Arriving with a margin allows develop a more elaborated project and resolve the technical needs before entering the production phase.

At RCK Stands, we can take care of the entire project, from the initial design to manufacturing and assembly at IFEMA. We work keeping in mind both the venue regulations and the specific characteristics of the space rented by each exhibitor.
